Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Lowbrow Media LLC ("Ripper", "we"). By creating a Ripper account or using Ripper, you agree to them and to our Community Guidelines.

Who can use Ripper

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to agree to these terms. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should review them with you.

Your account

You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple ID secure: you're responsible for what happens on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings ▸ Account ▸ Delete Account.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

Ripper has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to post anything that breaks our Community Guidelines, including hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual content, spam or impersonation. We filter posts, review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks the rules and remove people who post it.

What you post

You own the reviews, ratings, comments and profile you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, and share them inside Ripper and in links to Ripper, only as needed to run the service. Content you delete stops being shown. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

Podcasts and other people's content

Podcast names, artwork, episode details and video thumbnails belong to their owners. Ripper shows them to help you find, log and review podcasts, and links to where you can listen or watch. Ripper isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the podcasts it lists.

Ripper+ and Lifetime Ripper

Ripper+ is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID's subscription settings (Settings ▸ Account ▸ Plan ▸ Manage Subscription, or your iPhone's Settings). A free trial, if offered, becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. Lifetime Ripper is a one-time purchase. Apple handles all payments and refunds. Prices can change; we'll tell you before a change affects your subscription.

Ripper+ belongs to your Apple ID, not your Ripper account: signing out of or deleting your Ripper account doesn't cancel it.

Ending things

You can stop using Ripper and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the Community Guidelines, or when the law requires it.

Disclaimers

Ripper is provided "as is". Scores and recommendations are opinions from the community, not facts. We try hard to keep Ripper running and accurate but don't promise it will always be available, error-free or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Lowbrow Media LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it (or $10 if you haven't paid us). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Apple

These terms are between you and Lowbrow Media LLC, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Ripper or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and isn't responsible for any claims relating to it (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims). If Ripper fails to meet any applicable warranty, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you. You confirm you're not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect and ask you to agree again.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, except where the law of your country says otherwise.
